What is MedMore?
First and foremost MedMore is not insurance. Members save on medical
services and pay their health care bills themselves at time of service.
A MedMore membership provides you with access to a large network of
doctors, dentist, labs and pharmacies to whom MedMore has negotiated
discounts averaging 40% -60% for their services and suppies that are
passed on to MedMore members.
What is the difference between a Health Insurance Plan and a
Medical Discount Plan?
Most insurance plan premiums get higher every year depending on a persons
age.
MedMore premiums DO NOT increase with age, nor yearly.
What about DEDUCTIBLES?
Again most Health Insurance carry a high deductible that must be paid
by the insured before they can use the benefits.
MedMore HAS NO DEDUCTIBLES. You can use our benefits right away.
What about a person with pre-existing conditions or alien non-legal
status?
Most insurance plans have limitations and restrictions, they do not
accept people with pre-existing medical conditions or a non legal status.
MedMore has no exclusions, we DO ACCEPT people with pre-existing medical
conditions or non legal status.
How soon can I start using the plan benefits?
Usually Health Plans have a waiting period and deductibles to meet in
order for you to start receiving benefits.
With MedMore you can start using the benefits right away, once you enroll.
How many times a year can I use the plan benefits?
With Health Plans there is a limit of times you can use their benefits
within a year.
With MedMore there are no limits as to how many times you use your benefits
at all.
Are there any claims paperwork to fill out?
As you know most Health Insurance plans have claims to be filled out
by you or your Doctors office and then there is a waiting period to
have the claim accepted and not all procedures are approved.
MedMore has no claims to fill out and no waiting periods and no procedural
approval to wait on.
Will I need a referral to see a Specialist or pre-approval for
a medical proceedure?
With most Health Insurance you have to get pre-approval for procedures
and see a Primary Care Doctor for a referral, which costs the additional
visit to the PCP. With MedMore you DO
NOT need any pre-approval to get a procedure done nor a referral from
your Primary Care Physician to see any Specialist, saving you money,
time and worry.
How do I make a Doctors or Specialists appointment?
You have three options:
Look up the desired Doctor or Specialist in your MedMore Provider Directory
and call them yourself.
